Vitrified tiles adhesive |
Adhesives for vitrified tiles are generally designed equally for all types of tiles and jugs of all types of marble, light limestone, translucent types of stone, and mosaic glass, on mineral non-capable deformation substrates (such as concrete, screed, cement and cement lime plaster) for walls and inside and outside buildings, including in rooms with constant humidity, screed with heating (inside the building), pedestal, parapet, balcony wall and terrace, etc.
How to use by applying adhesive solution to the base with a fine buoy and parallel to the notched shovel. Do not soak the tiles before starting to work. The size of the shovel teeth depend on the size of the tiles. In the newly applied glue, attach the tile and press it to the base. After pressing the tile adhesive should cover at least 70% of the surface to be glued. In terms of external work, 100% wettability of tiles with glue is required to improve binding reliability. To do this, it is recommended to use glue on the back of the tile.
The tile should be placed within 20 minutes after applying the adhesive to the base. The tile location can be adjusted within ten minutes after laying. The temperature of the air and the substrate shall be between + 5 ° C and + 30 ° C. All the above recommendations are to be used correctly at temperatures + 23 ° C and 60% relative humidity. In other conditions, the setting and drying time of the solution may vary.
Table of glue consumption for mosaic tiles depend on tile size and spade shovel angle *:
Size of tile sizes Size of dental trowel Consumption close to 1 (shovel angle 45 °), kg / m 2 Adhesive Consumption 2 (spade angle 60 °), kg / m 2 Up to 5-7 cm 3 mm 1.8 2 Up to 10 cm 4 mm 2.3 2.9 10 to 20 cm 6 mm 3.5 4.3 From 20 to 30 cm 8 mm
5.7 More than 30 cm 10 mm 5.8 7.0
* The average value is given for the glue consumption for a relatively smooth base. With significant ruggedness and with additional mortar applications on the rear tile surface, consumption may be higher. Similar plates to define the application layer can be found in the "Tile adhesive" section.
How to Use Glue for Mosaic Tiles
Read carefully and follow the instructions on the glue pack. To avoid changing the tone of the glass mosaic sound, it is advisable to use white glue. Make sure the glue has enough consistency for the sheet to stick to the surface. With the flat side of the spatula, apply a glue layer evenly to the surface of the wall. With the side of the grooved spatula (minimum height of the spatula tooth is 3.5 mm), brush the glue. Do not apply the glue to an area larger than 10 sheets of tiles, about 1 sq.m., to avoid the appearance of film on the glue surface, as this makes it difficult for the adhesive to adhere to the tile. Glue the mosaic sheets facing, hold their faces back to themselves, gently pressing the mosaic into the glue. Make sure that the images are sent in one direction. Make sure the distance among the different sheets equal the distance between two mosaic chips. Here, individual sheets will not be visible, and they will not damage the uniformity of the layers.
Recommendation: One best adhesive on the market is the K55 Litocol. This adhesive is specially designed for mosaic tiles. Do not start tightening the joints before 24 hours after pasting the mosaic. Before mashing, clean the mosaic surface from the glue marks. To mash the joints, use a waterproof nat with fine granules. Read carefully and follow the instructions on grout packaging. The grout should be applied evenly with the rubber spatula in a vertical and horizontal direction to fill the joints, the putty surplus removed by diagonal movement. The process should be repeated until the gap is completely filled clean Clean the surface of the mosaic within 1 hour after mashing the gap. Using a damp sponge, remove excess glue from the surface in a few turns, flush the sponge each time. It is important that the tiles be cleaned until the putty is completely dry. Care should be taken not to remove the grout from the seam. After drying the mosaic should be washed with water. If cement dust is still present on the surface, add a mild acid solution (5-10% solution of household sulfuric acid) to water; rinse the surface of the mosaic quickly after using the acid
Adhesives for vitrification tiles
Suitable for bonding all kinds of ceramic coatings, ceramic tiles, vitrified tile tiles made of natural and artificial stone on the surface of walls made of concrete and flooring, concrete, aerated concrete, brick, drywall, cement, lime cement and gypsum plaster during intern work and external. It is used for bonding tiles on complex surfaces: painted alkali resist paint lined wall length and floor tiles of particle board, base coated alkali reject adhesive left after removal of linoleum and PVC floor tiles.
It is used to coat a pool of all sizes and floors with heating. It is possible to use glue as an intermediate layer of adhesive when plastering and puttying work on a complex base on top. Adhesives have a wide application scope, high plasticity, waterproof and frost, very convenient for use.
In the production process, the tile does not slip from the vertical base, allowing it to produce facing in all directions, including "from top to bottom".
It is recommended to deal with a complex surface: painted, old ceramic tile, floor adhesive residue. To face the facade, heated floors, and swimming pool running and grouting after 24 hours. 30 minute adjustment time The official service warranty period for dealing with porcelain tiles are 15 years
